the experimental

Described by Jim Pope of Black Sail records as “One of the most fun shows you’ll see this year!” and “a band that should be pushing for major festival stages” by The BBC’s James Santer; The Experimental have taken the music scene by storm since forming in 2016 and releasing their “Anthemic” debut EP ‘Control’ in April 2017.
Their debut single ‘Where Did The Weekend Go’ featured on BBC Introducing, and was received with much praise. Late 2017 saw the band’s follow up release ‘Million Voices’, alongside a string of live dates, including joining The Hoosiers on their ten-year anniversary tour. This has given a taste of what’s to come from a debut album due later in 2018.
Based in the always sunny, cider-fuelled South West of England, The Experimental are high octane, bass-driven, tom-laden, beautiful indie rock. For more details on the band, head to the official website – www.theExperimental.co.uk.

REVIEWS:
‘Watching the Experimental live is like being on an awesome rollercoaster that you just don’t want to get off! It’s like Muse met Rise Against in a booze fuelled party! One of the most fun shows you’ll see this year!’
[ Jim Pope, Black Sail Records ]

‘…Enormous riffs and anthemic tracks combined with the best of indie….’
[ Samantha Lamb, Spin Sunday Reviews ]

‘Think a Royal Blood level of bass-line attack, with toms that are more punchy and Foo Fighter-esque. Combined with a lead guitar on the high strings with delay and a weighty vocal with spot-on harmonies.’
[ Lee Morgan, theprsd.co.uk ]

‘The Experimental – ******* mental’
[ Jordan West, Moriaty ]
