We all felt that it was doing our Customers and good old South Devon a bit of a disservice not allowing you enough time to go off-site and explore this amazing part of the country whilst you are here.
With this in mind, we now open our camp site a day early, allowing you the chance to arrive before the event and really check out what’s on offer here in August. We wont be running any entertainment, but will be providing a fully serviced campsite with toilets, showers etc. Normal family campsite rules apply
Our Site is within easy reach of Dartmoor, you can be breathing the clean air of the moors within 30 minutes by car.
Check out Plymouth;s amazing Art Deco Lido that has been fully restored. Within a Bus Ride of the Site
There are some amazing Surf beaches in the Area, many of our Crew are local surfers and will gen you up on those hidden gems
We are 40 Minutes away from Torbay, the beautiful English Riviera with its fantastic attractions like Paignton Zoo and Kents Cavern
On 06/09/1620, the Mayflower sailed from Plymouth UK with just 102 passengers and crew on board.
We are only 15 minutes by car from Cornwall, just pop over the Tamar Bridge for the day & find a Tin Mine or Secluded Beach to visit
The South Devon Coast has some of the best sailing in the UK, there are plenty of Sailing Schools and boat Hire companies in the area
We are 20 minutes from Buckfast Abbey – Home of the Famous “Bucky” Tonic Wine. Pop along and pick up a few bottles for the Festival
Plymouth is home to some of the most stunning and well known attractions throughout the UK. The coastline to either side of Plymouth into Devon and Cornwall is peppered with some of the country’s most envied beaches and romantic hidden coves, and just on the edge of Plymouth, you get one of the finest and largest national parks in Britain – Dartmoor!
Plymouth has an interesting and varied history, and there are some fascinating local sites to be visited in the area dating from the 15th century onwards such as the famous Mayflower steps where the pilgrims set sail.
