KKOI is a multi-genre underground bass lyrical artist, based in the South West, UK but he is originally from Cambridge UK. His niche focuses on double time flow, hype lyricist and conscious concept writing for the drum and bass, baseline and bass house scene. He started writing music in 2010 after being inspired by grime and watching Stormin and Azza perform at Warning, Cambridge and how they captivated the crowd. He then progressed and started performing shows in 2013, improving and crafting his sound to fit his energetic personality. KKOI’s sound is playful and hyper due to his technical word play, enthusiastic and captivating lyrics. He has endured many successful years, however, in 2021, he had his first official track releases.

Known for his crowd hype, KKOI has performed at 100s of events across UK/Europe with promoters such as Warning, Next Hype, Innovation in the Sun, Outlook Festival, One Love, TNA events plus many more across Drum & Bass and Bassline. KKOI has performed with over 70 headline DJs under his belt such as Macky Gee, DJ Hype and Serum to name a few, KKOI’s network has been growing significantly since performing live shows bringing together the biggest crowd and bridging the gap between the ravers and DJ. He has also appeared on Radio such a Rough Tempo and more recently on Goat Shed Radio in Bristol supporting live streams whilst in lockdown. His latest achievement is winning the BBC Radio 1 Charlie Tee MC competition and recently performed with Charlie Tee at The Warehouse Project as a result.

KKOI is currently working and improving his skills on production as he wants to perfect his sound in the studio to ensure people recognise his music. In addition, there is a lot of music ready for 2023.
